[May 2025] š„: I was awarded Student Paper Winner - First Place, Theory and Methods Category, by the American Statistical Association Statistics in Imaging Section, and was invited to present this work and receive the award at the Statistical Methods in Imaging Conference.

[April 2025] š„: I received First Place in the Postdoctoral Fellow Division of the Poster Competition at the Columbia Biostatistics Annual Symposium.

[June 2024] šļø: I won the Bilingualism Abstract Award at the Statistical Society of Canada Annual Meeting.

[June 2024] šļø: I had the honor of co-chairing the Twelfth Annual Canadian Statistics Student Conference this year, and Iām thrilled to share that it was a great success! The conference featured a keynote by Dr. Richard J. Cook and a workshop by Dr. Jiguo Cao, and brought together researchers and students to share cutting-edge work, engage in lively discussions, and build meaningful connections.

[November 2023] š: I was selected to present my research at the Canadian Statistical Sciences Institute Annual Showcase.

[August 2023] š: I won the Student and New Researcher Poster Competition at the Second Canadian Statistical Sciences Institute - National Institute of Statistical Sciences Health Data Science Workshop, which had three winners with no ranking among them.

[July 2023] š: I was awarded a Canadian Institutes of Health Research travel award to participate in the Artificial Intelligence for Public Health Summer Institute. During the program, I expanded my expertise in the application of AI innovations to public health research and practice, and examined the potential role of AI technologies in either widening or reducing health inequities.

[May 2023] šļø: I served as an organizing committee member for the Eleventh Annual Canadian Statistics Student Conference, which featured a keynote by Dr. Erica E.M. Moodie and a workshop by Dr. Osvaldo Espin-Garcia, and provided a vibrant forum for researchers and students to exchange ideas and showcase their work.

[June 2021] š : I was awarded a Student Grant from the Statistical Society of Canada to attend the Statistical Society of Canada Annual Meeting and present my research on missing data and variable selection.

[April 2021] š: Our work received an Honorable Mention in the special COVID-19 Case Study Competition and was featured on the Statistical Society of Canada website.

[June 2020] š„: I won the Paul Corey Award - First Place at the Southern Ontario Regional Association of the Statistical Society of Canada & Southern Ontario Chapter of the American Statistical Association Biostatistics Research Day.

[May 2018] š : I was selected to receive the University of Toronto Conference Grant to attend the Statistical Society of Canada Annual Meeting and present our poster.

[June 2017] š: I was honored to be recognized as one of the top graduating undergraduates across disciplines in the Class of 2017 at the University of Toronto, receiving the Simeon Heman Janes Silver Medal at the Convocation. This prestigious award is given annually to three students for outstanding academic achievement.

[July 2016] š: I was fortunate to be selected and supported by the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences to participate in their summer research program, a prestigious global initiative that brings together worldwide top-tier students, leading researchers, and cutting-edge scientific challenges. This collaborative environment emphasized hands-on learning and problem-solving, providing me with invaluable exposure to the world of high-quality, enriching mathematical research and a deeper understanding of the field.
